Our desire is to proclaim freedom to those whose lives have been broken due to generational sin, past wounds, and decisions of the heart. It is our greatest desire that people personally experience God’s love, healing, and blessing in every area of their lives.
What is Healing Prayer?
The great number of people who were healed by Jesus during His short ministry is astounding. In the Gospels, when we read about Jesus, most often he was either healing someone, going to heal someone, or had just come from healing someone. When He sent out His disciples to further His ministry, He “gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases. He sent them out to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”
(Luke 9:1-2). We believe that this commandment is still very relevant to Christians today, and that the gift of healing is very much available to those who will simply ask God.
Jesus’ healing power can touch and transform lives today. Healing prayer focuses on those issues that keep us from a full relationship with Him. Healing of inner hurts, physical illnesses, addictions, and spiritual hurts are just some of the areas of focus.
We do this by:
- Listening to the direction of the Holy Spirit;
- Sharing Jesus’ love and compassion to all people; and
- Offering ourselves as vessels of God’s healing power through prayer.
